Hair Care Guide

It is very important to get into a good routine when caring for your virgin hair extensions.

Whether you're new to extensions or have been wearing them for years, it's a good idea to refresh yourself on how to properly care for your bundles and wigs.

Follow our well thought out guide and you'll create good hair care habits that will equal long lasting, healthy looking extensions

Raw Virgin Straight

  1. We advise not to cut your wefts (minimal cutting) and use the blanket stitch method when installing your bundles.  Not cutting your wefts will eliminate weft damage, shedding and prolong the life of your bundles. 

  2. Wash every 7-10 days with a moisturising shampoo.

  3. Condition with a moisturising conditioner.  Leave the conditioner in the hair for at least 10 minutes.  Wash out.

  4. Leave hair to air dry or blow dry straight .

  5. Style.

  6. A frizz combatting serum is advised for Raw Indian hair during Humid and very hot conditions (please see recommended product list)

Raw Virgin Wavy & Curly

  1. Wash every 7-10 days with a moisturising shampoo.

  2. Condition with a moisturising conditioner.

  3. Whilst hair is saturated in conditioner use a wide tooth comb and detangle throughout. 

  4. Wash out the conditioner, further detangling with your fingers.

  5. Add a small amount of Eco professional styling gel , followed by a frizz Ease serum.

  6.  Leave to air dry. Do not touch whilst drying.

  7. Daily spritz hair until saturated with water and follow steps 5 and 6

Raw Virgin Lace Frontals & Lace Closures

  1. Do not bleach your knots  (if you prefer to bleach , do not leave the bleach mixture on the lace for a lengthy period of time).

  2. Do not over Manipulate the hair i.e. excessive combing , straightening , scratching the scalp area.

  3. Do not use oily products near the lace.

  4. When styling try and opt for a glueless install opposed to glued.

  5. HD lace products are very delicate and need to be treated with extreme care due to the lace type being extra thin.
